J&K Bank New Mpay Application 2023
J&K Bank plans to introduce a feature-rich mobile banking application in the near future, aiming to enhance the customer experience.
The bank has also issued an apology to its customers for the recent outage of its mobile banking platform, Mpay Delight, which occurred on the eve of Eid ul Zuha.
Despite the outage, J&K Bank managed to process 71 lakh online transactions amounting to Rs 4170 Crores through various digital platforms, including Mpay, during the three days leading up to the Eid festival .
However, Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, the bank’s General Manager (IT Vertical), expressed deep regret for the inconvenience caused to customers due to the technical glitch.
Bhat stated, “We apologize wholeheartedly to our valuable customers for the outage in our online services, particularly ‘Mpay,’ and express our deep regret.” He emphasized the bank’s commitment to meeting customer expectations and providing uninterrupted digital banking services. Although the services have been restored, J&K Bank is determined to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
The bank is actively working on transforming its IT landscape, with a specific focus on digital banking platforms. Upgrading mobile banking, internet banking, and kiosk banking applications remains a top priority.
Bhat highlighted that the forthcoming mobile banking application will be equipped with advanced features and powered by the latest technologies. The bank aims to empower customers by offering seamless banking services through digital devices at their convenience.
